"Quality" time together is priceless. Even finding a few moments each day or a date once a week or month can make a big difference in your relationship or marriage. Life happens and we get so busy and wear ourselves out so that we have very little energy left for anything or anyone else. Sound familiar? You and you alone have to commit to making time for each other for meaningful conversation and intimacy. Men need men time, women need women time, couples need couple time, and families need family time. It's up to you to carve time out in these areas so you can be healthy in all your relationships.
"Friends are Friends Forever", the only problem with that statement is that we have so many people (Men & Women) telling us that they don't have any friends!!!!!! We all have acquaintances, but many do not have close friends that they can confide in during difficult times. Many of us are so busy and tired that we don't cultivate quality long term friendships. Our difficult economic times contribute to the problem with both lack of money and sometimes the need to move to find work. Without friends life can be very lonely and overwhelming.
"Tolerance" is the word that comes to mind when we talk about the need to respect each persons perspective on faith or their particular religion. Obviously God did not make us all the same, so there is both the need to be sensitive, open minded and respectful to new ideas, but at the same time we can be passionate and live our own particular faith with boldness and conviction. God clearly tells us not to be fence sitters, each of us has the ability and in most cases the freedom to make our own choices about faith and religion. This topic is one of Pastor Dennis's passions, over the past few years he has been able to help a lot of people clear away their confusion and choose to live their lives wholeheartedly for Jesus. We must live to please Him first and others second.
